Governance and peace-building advocacy aims to promote dialogue at the grassroots level by bridging gaps between communities and civil administration. The program plays a crucial role in promoting social cohesion, democratic governance, and peace at the grassroots level. Through inclusive engagement and advocacy efforts, the program seeks to empower communities to create positive change and build a more equitable and peaceful society.

Premised on engaging and partnering with local stakeholders to foster communication and positive action, our objective is to amplify the voices of minority and marginalized groups, ensuring that they are not only heard but also seen ensuring their meaningful participation in governance processes. HOD focuses on fostering dialogue and collaboration at the grassroots level to promote inclusive governance and peaceful coexistence. By bridging gaps between communities and civil administration, the program aims to strengthen social cohesion and facilitate constructive engagement in decision-making processes.

Key activities under the governance and peace building advocacy program include:

  1. Community Dialogue & Mediation: Facilitating dialogue sessions and conflict resolution processes to address grievances and build consensus among community members.
  2. Capacity Building Workshops: Organizing training workshops on conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and civic engagement to empower community members to participate effectively in governance processes.
  3. Advocacy Campaigns: Launching advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about social justice issues, human rights violations, & the importance of inclusive governance.
  4. Civic Education Programs: Conducting civic education programs to inform communities about their rights and responsibilities as citizens and encourage active participation in democratic processes.
  5. Community Mobilization Activities: Mobilizing communities to take collective action on issues of common concern, such as access to basic services, land rights, and environmental conservation.
