Board Of Directors

The Board of Directors, a collective of seasoned professionals, comprises a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and two additional members. This esteemed board stands as the pinnacle decision-making body within the organization, bearing legal, financial, and ethical responsibility for its progress and triumph. The Board Secretary, also the Executive Director, diligently oversees the day-to-day operations, ensuring the organization’s adherence to the Board’s directives.

Fartun F Mohmed

Fartun has extensive experience in leadership and conflict management. She has over 12 years of working experience with direct engagement with community groups both in the country and outside. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Public Health and has a passion for helping vulnerable people, youth, and children.

Abdi Omar Diriye

Our Board Secretary and Executive, is a testament to our organization’s commitment to excellence. With a Master’s degree in Development Studies from JKUAT University and over 15 years of experience in the humanitarian field, he has left an indelible mark on organizations such as MSF Belgium, GIZ, Care Kenya, and ICRC. His expertise in development and humanitarian emergencies is a source of pride for us.

Abdisalan Jama Aden

Mr. Jama has over two decades of social research experience. His dedication to research has earned him great recognition across a wide spectrum of society. He is currently serving as the HoD Board Treasurer.

Aden Zubeyr Ali

B.O.D

Mr. Ali is a senior board member who has served several local and international organizations in the past. He graduated with a Diploma in Community Development and Social Work. Mr. Ali is an outstanding crusader against social injustice. He advocates for equity and equality for all and is known for his firm stance on children’s rights, such as child soldiers.

Paul Mboya Otieno

B.O.D

Paul is an engineer by profession. He has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and is currently a PhD candidate at Nairobi University. Mr. Paul has worked with big multilateral institutions such as the World Bank as a capacity-building consultant. He is currently serving as a Board Member at HoD
